Reviews for drain companies
An honest, steady review routine built around the moments a drain customer is most relieved.
A residential drain company lives on two kinds of call. One is a homeowner with water coming up through a basement floor drain, who will hire whoever answers first and sounds competent. The other is the same homeowner a week later, holding a camera-inspection report and a quote for a new sewer lateral, trying to decide whether to trust you. DrainageAgency.ca builds marketing for both moments, and for the link between them. You can see how we approach each piece on our services page.
Built for drain and sewer work, not plumbing in general
Drain and sewer marketing needs its own plan because the money in the trade sits in the follow-up, not the first visit. A clearing job pays the bills; an inspection that leads to a lateral repair or replacement can be worth many times that, and it is won or lost on how well the problem is explained.
Most plumbing marketing treats "drain cleaning" as one service line among twenty. That works for a general shop. It fails a drain specialist in three ways:
- The wrong hours. Backups don't wait for business hours, but many ad accounts are scheduled as if they do.
- The wrong page. A homeowner searching for a sewer camera inspection lands on a generic plumbing page with no explanation of what the camera shows.
- The wrong follow-up. The inspection report goes out as a PDF and a price, with nothing to help the homeowner understand why the pipe needs work.
If you are a general plumbing company where drains are only part of the work, our hub site Plumbing.Agency is the better fit. If you run a drain and sewer company, keep reading.
What we do for drain companies
We run five connected pieces of work, and most clients start with two or three.
- Drain and sewer local search: your Google Business Profile, map listings and service pages, built around drain searches.
- Emergency backup call capture: search ads, call routing and after-hours scheduling for the urgent call.
- Camera-inspection and sewer-repair content: pages, short videos and report templates that explain what the camera found.
- Drain campaign management: campaigns timed to your own call history, including wet-weather and lateral-replacement pushes.
- Reviews for drain companies: a routine for asking at the right moment, without gating or incentives.
Everything is written down in a proposal before you sign, including what it costs, what we measure and what you own.
A worked example you can check
Here is the kind of arithmetic we start with. The numbers are an illustration, not a result; use your own.
Say your company handles 60 drain calls a month. Twenty of them lead to a camera inspection, and four of those inspections turn into a sewer repair or lateral replacement. If one more inspection a month converts because the homeowner understood the footage and the quote, and an average repair is worth $9,000 to you, that is $9,000 of new monthly revenue from the same number of calls.
Getting more calls costs money. Converting the inspections you already do mostly costs clear explanation. That's why our plans usually start with inspection follow-up before ad spend, and why our guide to marketing a sewer camera inspection walks through the method step by step.
Proof, with the right label
We have no drain or plumbing case studies to show yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we do have are results from our HVAC work, built with the same method: emergency-led service pages, map visibility and call tracking.
- BCWide.ca reached 3× leads in 90 days.
- CanroHeat.ca achieved 250% lead growth.
- Roma Heating & Cooling grew organic traffic 400% in 12 months.
These are heating results, not drain results. The results page explains what carries over to a drain business and what doesn't.
Who we are
DrainageAgency.ca is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads it; his 17+ years in digital marketing include building 150+ live HVAC websites. We work under the Trades.Agency family of trade marketing brands.
We are a marketing and consulting business. We are not a contractor: we don't clear drains, run cameras, dig or reline pipe. That keeps our role simple: get the right homeowner to call you, and help them say yes to the work your crew recommends. More on how we work is on the about page.
Across Canada, region by region
Drain demand looks different in a wet coastal city, a prairie city with long, hard winters, and an Atlantic town with older housing. We cover all 10 provinces and 3 territories, and each region page explains the local climate, the bodies that oversee plumbing work there, and how we would approach drain marketing in that market. Pricing is on the pricing page, with tax shown by province.
The easiest way to start is a short text to (604) 632-4959 saying what kind of drain work you want more of. We take it from there.
How it works

Frequently asked questions
What is DrainageAgency.ca?
DrainageAgency.ca is a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for residential drain and sewer companies. We belong to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, run from Vancouver, BC, under the leadership of Ali Sedighi, MBA.
Do you clear drains or replace sewer lines?
No. We are not a contractor and never send anyone to a home. We market drain and sewer companies and advise their owners; your crews do the work.
Why a separate agency just for drains?
Because a drain company sells two very different jobs: an urgent clearing that is decided in minutes and a sewer repair that is decided over days, often after a camera inspection. General plumbing marketing tends to blur the two, and the expensive job is usually the one that suffers.
How much does it cost?
Our Growth plan is $1,999 a month, or $1,499 a month when billed annually, plus GST/HST based on your province (GST and QST in Quebec). Plans run month to month with 30 days' notice to cancel, and eligible trades businesses get a free 30-minute first consultation.
Can you promise a number of calls?
No. Nobody honest can. We show you the arithmetic behind the plan, the results from our HVAC work that the method is based on, and the exact numbers we will report to you each month.
Do you work with commercial drainage contractors too?
This site is for residential drain and sewer work. Commercial jetting, hydro-excavation and maintenance contracts are covered by our sister site, DrainageMarketing.ca, which is built for that buyer.
